A refreshing and vibrant blood orange spritz recipe. Fresh orange juice meets the fragrant complexity of The Botanist Gin for a vibrant, herbaceous cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 35ml The Botanist Islay Dry Gin
  • 15ml Lilet Blanc
  • 60ml Blood orange juice (about one orange in season) add a little sugar if your oranges are too tart
  • Soda top
  • Sea salt and Tajin for rim

Method

  1. Rim a wineglass with a mix of half sea salt and half Tajin
  2. Fill the glass with ice and build the cocktail in the glass with all ingredients except the soda water, and stir
  3. Top with soda
  4. Garnish with a blood orange slice, Nocerella olive on a cocktail stick and rosemary sprig
